Quotes

Quotes that came to me during times where they seem as great quotes. If you read these and feel implied, read again and think about it. If you have any comments, go ahead and express yourself.

"The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power."- Hugh White.
-- This new month feels like its the new year, with new life and new resolutions that need to start taking place in my life. When you understand what really its happening around you, sometimes that helps to see what you want and deserve from the future.

"Look at time and distance as the essence of the understanding in realizing how price-less it is to have you (or me)". Ronald Johnston

"When a man is willing and eager, the gods join in."
- Aeschylus

"Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation." Kahlil Gibran

"It is our choices...that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities"
- J. K. Rowling

"You will never know true happiness until you have truly loved, and you will never understand what pain really is until you have lost it." Anonymous

"The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one."
- Elbert Hubbard

"Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love".
-Neil Gaiman

But what Is love....?
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres". 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
